Dr. Agnew Offers Medical and Surgical Care Plans
THE PELVIC FLOOR MEDICAL CARE PLAN
You may not need or want a surgical procedure. Many patients can have their symptoms managed with non-surgical methods such as: lifestyle changes, pessaries and medication.
In the event you do not need or wish to have surgery:
A First Consultation with Dr. Agnew is €300
Subsequent Review Consultations are €150
For all patients who are suitable for and who choose to have a surgical procedure, Dr. Agnew offers the Pelvic Floor Surgical Care Plan.
THE PELVIC FLOOR SURGICAL CARE PLAN
Years of experience have taught us that patients do best when a multidisciplinary team approach is taken with regards to pelvic floor disorders.
The Surgical Care Plan includes:
An initial consultation, examination, and a personalised care plan with Dr. Agnew.
‘Get Fit For Surgery’ physiotherapy educational course and preparatory class.
Hospital consultation visits with Dr. Agnew.
Follow-up consultation and examination 6 weeks after surgery.
The surgical procedure itself, the hospital stay and the anaesthetist’s fee is usually covered by your health insurance. However, it is recommended that you contact your insurer to verify coverage.
Procedure codes for your planned procedure would be provided to you by Dr. Agnew following your consultation.
The cost of the Pelvic Floor Surgical Care Plan is 1500 euro. This is not covered by Medical Insurance and payment must be received before a surgery date is scheduled.
If you do not have health insurance it is still possible to proceed as a self-payer.
